About Megan

Megan Jones is an award-winning executive leader, strategist and communicator with more than 20 years’ experience helping organisations move from complex ideas to practical delivery. She works across government, industry, infrastructure, energy, regional development and the circular economy, bringing the judgement, pace and clarity needed to lead through ambiguity, growth and change.

As an interim executive and strategic adviser, Megan helps organisations sharpen direction, build trusted partnerships, navigate stakeholder and political environments, and turn strategy into action. Her career began in town planning and urban design, giving her a strong foundation in systems thinking, place-based problem-solving, community impact and cross-sector collaboration.

Megan is the co-founder and inaugural CEO of Circular PV Alliance, Australia’s first peak industry body focused on the solar energy circular economy. Through this work, she helped position Australia as a global leader in solar circularity, building the organisation from concept to national profile and influence. In 2023, The Australian named Megan one of Australia’s Top 100 Green Energy Players.

Her experience spans executive leadership, strategic communications, policy and advocacy, stakeholder engagement, business building, governance, program design and industry development. She has worked across corporate, government and grassroots environments, with a particular strength in translating complex issues into clear narratives, aligned teams and deliverable outcomes.

Megan has also undertaken professional coaching training, including positive psychology and performance mindset, which informs her practical and people-centred leadership style. Having grown up in remote parts of Australia and called regional New South Wales home for more than 15 years, Megan brings a grounded understanding of regional communities, economic transition and the importance of creating lasting public value.
